Du fait grammatical au fait cognitif (2 volumes)

La grammaire est-elle un simple utilitaire de la langue, un système autonome de marqueurs et d'agencements, sans lien manifeste avec le reste de l'activité symbolique? Ou ne serait-elle pas, au contraire, une fenêtre ouverte sur l'esprit, un révélateur puissant de la cognition ordinaire, le lieu de négociation des représentations et de transmission du sens? Comment articuler la relation entre sémiologie grammaticale, structures syntaxiques et représentations mentales?
Comment faire du sujet parlant un sujet social et un sujet cognitif à part entière, avec quelles conséquences méthodologiques? Le présent volume, intégralement dédié à la grammaire et à la linguistique cognitives, aborde de front ces questions cruciales au travers d'une sélection de 30 articles, issus du colloque Gram-to-Mind (Bordeaux, 19-21 mai 2005).

semiology, syntactic structure and mental representation to be defined? What is truly "cognitive" about Cognitive Grammar? Who cognizes what? What does it mean for a speaker to be an "embodied social cognizer"? More generally, is it possible
